Mexico has it all.

Mexico is probably my favorite country. I have visited Mexico more than any other country in the world (other than the ones I have lived in), and have only just scratched the surface of what this beautiful country has to offer.

You want perfect beaches? Yes, of course. Mexico has incredible beaches—and not just the famous ones.

You want rich culture? Puhlease. Mexico is a tapestry of cultures, from north to south, east to west. An explosion of color, textiles, handicrafts, rituals, and dances. There’s always a celebration going on.

You want complex history? Por favor. Let’s talk about Mayans, Aztecs, Olmecs and those nasty European colonizers.

You want incredible food? Stop. Mexico has so much more than tacos. The markets are teeming with the freshest food, and every region has its culinary specialties. Let’s not forget our good friends tequila and mezcal. And ok, you can also get the most delicious tacos in Mexico!

And don’t get me started on the landscapes! Deserts, jungles, beaches, canyons.

Mexico really does have it all. I know I’ll be going back.
