North America is home to more countries than you think! In addition to the big hitters of Canada, Mexico and USA, North America has 19 countries in the Caribbean…and Greenland?! Central America is the southernmost portion of North America, coming in hot with 7 countries.

North America is the third largest continent by land mass and fourth largest by population.
Canada is the largest country by size in North America, and Saint Kitts and Nevis is the smallest.
North America has 24 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Greenland is the largest island in the world.

Canada

The cold north beckons!
It’s true, it’s cold in most of Canada most of the year. That makes it a great place to visit for winter sports and activities, but it’s also beautiful in summer and fall!

Mexico

Food, culture and scenery galore!
Mexico will steal your heart with its welcoming culture, diverse and delicious cuisines, and stunning landscapes. Mexico makes a great getaway for a short trip or a long stay.

USA

Incredible landscapes!
While famous for its bustling cities and brash culture, the real star of the USA is the nature. There is an incredible variety from east to west, north to south—and that’s just the continental US!

Caribbean

Sun and sea!
Nothing says “vacation” like a trip to a Caribbean island. There are over 7000 of them! I have only been to a few, and it’s been a while, so I won’t have any posts for the foreseeable future.
